SASSA has confirmed the social grant payment dates for June 2026. Older Persons Grants will be paid first on 2 June, followed by Disability Grants on 3 June. Children’s Grants will be paid from 4 June 2026, according to the official SASSA notice.

The South African Social Security Agency has released the social grant payment dates for June 2026, giving beneficiaries time to plan ahead for the month. According to the official notice issued by SASSA, payments will begin in the first week of June, starting with Older Persons Grants, followed by Disability Grants, and then Children’s Grants.

These payment dates are important for pensioners, persons living with disabilities, caregivers, and families who depend on monthly grant support. Beneficiaries should take note of the correct date for their grant type to avoid confusion at pay points, ATMs, retailers, and other payment channels. The dates were shared through SASSA’s official social media update.

This includes grants paid to caregivers for children who qualify for SASSA support. Many households use these grants for food, school needs, transport, and basic family expenses.

SASSA e-Life Certification Notice

SASSA also used the June 2026 payment notice to remind beneficiaries about e-Life Certification.

According to the notice, e-Life Certification is a self-service digital platform that allows beneficiaries to complete life certification from home. The service is available through the SASSA Online Services Portal and includes secure biometric verification through the electronic Know Your Client system.

SASSA has encouraged grant beneficiaries who have the necessary means to use the self-service portal to complete e-Life Certification.

Important Details for Beneficiaries

Beneficiaries should use the correct payment date for their grant category. Those receiving more than one linked grant should check which category applies to their main grant payment.

SASSA beneficiaries should also keep their personal details, banking details, and contact information up to date to avoid payment delays or problems with verification.
